  1. Hello Gunther
Very good staging and excellent painting as always :)
I think you're really very good at finding the colors of the uniforms.
For this new model, this is a dark blue gray or dark gray for the base color? Hard to find documents.
    Regards
    yannick

  4. A big thank you for the link, that's exactly what I wanted and even more because there are British troops in Africa, a subject that we can paint in a few months. (The news of Tommy's war).
I tried to find the base color of the uniform.
I used: 807 Oxford blue with some dark blue prussian 899 and flat base for the base.
    950 Black to shade
Blue U.S. 903 for the first lighting.
    Flesh 815 for other lightings.
I am not very satisfied, I think it comes from the base and also the fact of never having painted blue uniform.
Can you help me a bit to the base?
I want to tell you I do not try to copy you when I ask you this help, it would be ridiculous.
If you have time, can you give me a small list of some blue indispensable to possess, to paint the uniforms of the twentieth century.
    See you soon, friendly
    yannick
